you, Denise, for a most fantastic trip to Africa! We can’t tell you how
much we enjoyed ourselves and are ready to go back! We loved seeing your
smiling face when we arrived in Nairobi and felt cared for
throughout our entire safari. Your enthusiastic spirit and love of
Africa is contagious and was even more so while we were there. All of
the accommodations were incredible! Pictures are great but to actually
be in the middle of it all is indescribable! We loved Little Governor’s
Camp and will never forget our stay there. The service, food, and staff
were all excellent! We especially enjoyed seeing and hearing the hippo
outside our tent the first night. We were so excited! We also very much
enjoyed our stay at the House of Waine in Nairobi. What a great place to
begin and end a safari! It is so beautiful there and everyone was so
friendly. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Denise! Your knowledge
and respect for wildlife made this safari stand out from the rest. And
your sense of humor kept us laughing on the game drives. We cannot wait
to travel with you again. Our safari adventure was truly unforgettable.

My
husband and I and our two children were blessed to have experienced a
trip of a lifetime on safari in Tanzania with Denise Bonnell.
Denise loves Africa and was an enthusiastic safari guide. She held a
meeting before our trip to give us all the details of what to expect,
how to pack, and to answer all of our questions. Denise is very
professional and experienced in coordinating safaris and personally
reviewed the tented camps and lodges ahead of time. The accommodations
were wonderful and the food was exceptional every where we went. The
driver guides she provided were very personable and extremely
knowledgeable about plant life and animal behavior. We went on game
drives in the morning and in the late afternoon every day in quality
safari vehicles. We had the opportunity to take amazing pictures and
enjoy an array of wildlife. One of the highlights was our visit to a Masai village to learn about their way of life. We will never forget
our African adventure and hope to return some day with Denise. Our
parents had gone on safari with Denise in 1996 and had a wonderful
experience as well. I would recommend Denise to any of my friends or
family interested in taking a trip to Africa.

In
August of last year, I had the most wonderful experience of my life
going on safari in Africa. With all of the anticipation one has before
embarking on such an adventure, there is much to do to get ready.
Denise Bonnell made this whole experience seem effortless though, as she
was our guide and led us through every task, thus preparing everyone in
regards to what was needed for the trip. Immunizations, visas, clothing
needed, all of these necessities were checked off our list before we
left U.S. soil. This preparation left us with the most wonderfully
eventful, fulfilling, and relaxing trip. EVER! While on safari, every
item one might conceive of was handled expertly by Denise. Her knowledge
about Africa and the wildlife we would encounter was frosting on this
wonderful cakewalk through Tanzania. We were on a schedule, but it
didn’t seem so, as everything was planned out so well; the days flowed
and the game drives we took and evening group dinners, were relaxed and
full of fun times. Denise always considered our safety as well; being
in a foreign country might seem like it might be dangerous or scary, but
not once did I ever feel any kind of alarm about anything. It was truly
a trip of a lifetime and I would recommend Denise to anyone who desires
to have the same experience. I am going back as soon as I can! And, of
course, I will request that Denise be my guide!

African Safaris was recommended to us by friends who met Denise
Bonnell while they were on safari in Kenya with another tour
company. They were impressed with the close interaction she had
with her group members as well as her knowledge about Africa. We
took our friend's advice and signed up for one of Denise's
safaris two years ago. We had a wonderful time and met new
friends who we continue to stay in touch with today. We were
completely impressed with Denise's professionalism, her honesty,
her humorous outlook on life, and more than anything, her love
and admiration for Africa's people and wildlife. We had an
adventure we will never forget!

Thank
you so much, Denise, for a trip I will never forget! After watching the
movie “Out of Africa” about Karen Blixen’s life in Kenya, my dream was
to go on a real African safari. My husband went along for the ride
because he knew how badly I wanted to go but he ended up enjoying it as
much as me! The entire trip was completely wonderful from beginning to
end. My favorite quote from the book “Out of Africa” was “There is
something about safari life that makes you forget all your sorrows and
feel as if you had drunk half a bottle of champagne…” This is exactly
how I felt every minute of every day while on safari.
Denise has a way with people and we really enjoyed her funny stories as
we sat around the campfire at night. It was obvious the camp staff
at all of the places we stayed really liked and respected her. There
was nothing she wouldn’t do for our group to make sure we were all
comfortable. Best of all, she was an expert guide on our game drives.
She has an innate sense about wildlife and their behavior and I really
liked that we took the time to really observe the animals. Other
vehicles would stop, take pictures, and leave. We took the time to
watch and observe the animals closely. This was one of the things I
liked best about our safari. We didn’t rush around like the others.
There were so many highlights on our trip with Denise it is impossible
to mention them all, but one thing we know for sure, we will go on
safari with Denise again.

How
can I even explain how incredible our trip was! The amount of time that
Denise put into the preparation of the trip with a timeline to do what
needed to be done and when took a lot of pressure off of all of us –
i.e. clothes, hats, cameras. She even thinks through how the people in
the group will react to one another so makes sure everyone gets to know
everyone else by changing us in the vehicles on game drives. We all got
to know one another very well which only enhanced our safari experience.
Denise’s love and knowledge for Africa is really apparent! After two
weeks in Africa, I came to understand how very important the vehicles
and guides are and ours was very good thanks to Denise’s research and
preparation. Africa is a very unique place and I am so glad we chose to
go on safari with Denise. I truly hope that you will have the
opportunity to experience this trip of a lifetime! We will never forget
it!

Denise
led a wonderful trip to Tanzania for our family. Her advance planning
and attention to detail ensured that everything was of the best
quality. The accommodations were “luxury camping” which was perfect for
a non-camper like me. The driver/guides made the trip for me, as their
English was excellent and they were very knowledgeable about the
animals, the geography and the people we saw. You spend a lot of time
in your vehicle seeing the animals, so the quality and comfort of the
vehicle makes a huge difference. Denise made sure that we had newer
vehicles and that they were comfortable and not crowded like other
vehicles we saw. Denise’s passion for Africa is contagious, and she
couldn’t have done a better job on the itinerary. It truly was a trip
of a lifetime.

so much for the birthday cake too! What a great surprise! The
accommodations, safari vehicles, food, small group size, and service
were all excellent! We especially loved the tea and cookies delivered
to our tent before our morning game drive. We were definitely spoiled.
Best of all was the game viewing and your knowledge of Africa’s
wildlife. We learned so much and have a new appreciation for what
predators must go through to get a meal. We can’t wait to go on another
safari adventure with you.
